Cajun Shrimp



INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 lb. Shrimp (peeled and de-veined) 2 tbsp. Olive Oil 1/2 c Onion (chopped) 2 Cloves Garlic (minced) 1 Jalapeño 2 tbsp Garlic Powder

2 tbsp Italian Seasoning.

2 tbsp Paprika.

1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper

1 tbsp Thyme

1 tbsp Onion Powder

1 tbsp Parsley 1 tbsp. Lemon Juice


DIRECTIONS In a large skillet, heat half the olive oil over medium heat.


Add onion and Jalapeño and sauté for about 5 min or until tender


Add in the minced garlic and continue cook for 1 minute more.


Once done move to a bowl


Mix all the seasoning together in a small bowl, sprinkle over the cleaned shrimp and salt and pepper liberally. Add remaining oil to the pan with the cleaned and seasoned shrimp.


Add shrimp to a pan and cook for about 2 on each side and they are pink.


Add vegetables back to the pan along with the lemon juice and stir for about 1 min.
